Collin Juniper is a saxophonist based in Los Angeles, holding a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance with a Minor in Music Industry from USC Thornton School of Music, where he studied under Sal Lozano, Kenneth Foerch, and Dr. Jessica Maxfield.

A performer of remarkable range, Collin moves fluently between classical concert halls, jazz clubs, recording studios, and cross-cultural ensembles. He has performed on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone across programs spanning multiple centuries, traditions, and continents.

He has recorded professionally with The Broken Windows and Coveted Future, performed alongside industry legends in USC's Quincy Jones Symphonic experience, and composed original music for the stage. As an educator, he brings the same depth of curiosity to his students that defines his own musical journey.

Performed Takashi Yoshimatsu's Cyberbird Concerto with the USC Thornton Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Carl St. Clair — 35-year Music Director of the Pacific Symphony.

Senior Recital

Produced and performed a full-length solo recital at Ramo Recital Hall — coordinating 20+ musicians across classical, jazz, Irish traditional, and Chinese ensemble collaborations.

Quincy Jones Symphonic

First Alto Saxophonist in USC's Quincy Jones Symphonic experience alongside Grammy-winning artists including Greg Phillinganes, Ledisi, and John "JR" Robinson.

Premiered new works by USC composers including Gibson Mahnke's In Isolation and Luc Edouard's Saxophone Music.
